Hi Angie!

Sorry I haven't sent you any pictures of Baron yet... we don't have a digital camera, but I promise to send you some photos. What a pup!

He will be 11 weeks old this coming Monday, and we've had him a little over 3 weeks now. I would say he was totally housebroken after about the first 10 days...and then he only had had a couple of piddles, never once pooped in the house. Alot of this we attribute to Blitz's good examples and training.

It took exactly one week to the day for the two of them to "bond", for Blitz to overcome his feelings of jealousy and take the big brother role. Now they are inseparable. Baron only took a couple of days to learn to respond to his name and the commands, "come", and "no" and sometimes, "stay".

He is SO smart!  He slept through the night from day one and is so compliant and well behaved.  All in all, I consider him a "miracle" puppy! We go on 2 mile hikes on a forested path near my house each morning, and he loves it.

We try to take him everywhere we go to help him get well socialized, and your good raising of him in his first weeks of life is very evident. Thank you!!!

The first time we took him to the vet clinic to weigh him he weighed 12.5lbs... a week later it was 17.5 and a week later it was 22.5!  Obviously he's growing!  He sure isn't fat or even chubby, just perfect. We feed him the Iams large breed puppy food according to the vets directions.

So Angie, we'll keep you updated... we love him!

HI Angie...

All is going well. wish we had a digital camera! We';ll just have to send you photos of our prize pup.

His name is "Baron Von Huntsburg".... neat huh?  "Baron" is German for "of noble birth".. and by looking at his family tree... it's an appropriate name.  and he's from Huntsburg.. so, it's perfect!

He is the most totally amazing pup I have ever had!  He slept through the night, on a dog pillow next to our bed from the start.. never makes a peep!

He also seems to almost have the housebreaking idea down already!  Of course, he follows Blitz outside, they're in and out all day... and he does his thing and co mes back in.

He is remarkable!!! So smart!!! already responds to his name, and "come" and "no"... never seen anything like it...of course, we just call him "Baron"... we love him! keep you posted..
