Angie,

So nice to hear from you!

Jamison is doing GREAT!!!

My gosh, Angie, you were right: he is SO smart and SO loving. I love animals, but still can't believe how attached to Jamison I've become already!

He seems very happy here. My son has been coming over at lunchtime to check on him and give him a little company during the day. My son has fallen in love with Jamison, too. He, too, is amazed at how bright this little guy is!

Yesterday Jamison was playing and he made the wire doorstop make that 'boiiiiing!' noise and really surprised Jamison, who cocked his head in wonder, his ears standing straight up, and just because I don't think he knew WHAT to do, he barked back at the doorstop for scaring him! It made me laugh!!!

We took TWO walks yesterday. He fell asleep before 8 pm!

He's eating and drinking well. Took him to the vet Saturday but they said I need to wait until this Saturday to get his next shots. So, he'll be back there again day after tomorrow.

EVERYONE is telling me how beautiful he is. And one of the people on my street actually recognized him as a White Shepherd. Said he used to raise them and started telling me they are just the BEST dogs ever and SMART! Tonight my next door neighbor told me he used to be a Canine Policeman and of all the dogs he's loved, his very favorite breed is a German Shepherd. Said when this little guy gets older, NO ONE will EVER be able to hurt me so long as Jamison is around!

Anyway, he's sleeping well, and seems to have adjusted. I think he misses you and his litter mates, though. When your mail arrived he must've picked up your sent because he kept licking and sniffing the envelope - so there's a long distance kiss for you from Jamison. When he gets sleepy at night, he curls up next to me and loves to put a paw or his head resting on me like puppies do with each other in the litter box, you know?

Anyway, I will hug him for you. Write back any time!

I don't have any photos yet but will send you some when I get them.

Peggy
